That is really powerful.  I have seen blogs with the top commentors in the widget section but it never ocured to me that this is actually a great way to get a page 1 back link.  
I think I am going to need to give it a try and get a couple of these to help with some SEO.</description>

I often find that a site that has a high PR of say 6 has almost a zero PR when you go to the actual post page. Would you suggest checking that both the home page and the page of the post have a high PR before making the effort?
